Thanks to the solidarity that you and your fellow adjuncts exercised in fighting for a new contract, you should see an increase in your pay for the Fall. With notices of appointment due by the week of August 24th, make sure that your letters reflect the new AY 26–27 per credit minimum of $1445. If you’ve worked for PSU for 6 years or longer, you’re also eligible for a length of service increase: the per credit minimum plus length of service (+$10, +$15, or +$20) will be $1455, $1460, or $1465. (See the length-of-service pay table below).

Adjuncts making more than the minimum who want to ensure their cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) was applied correctly can do the following calculation:

AY25–26 rate x 1.030 x 1.031 + Length of Service increase = AY26–27 per credit rate

Length of service increases are calculated by the number of years you have taught at least one credit at PSU during fall, winter, or spring term. (If you experience a break in service, or you enter a different bargaining unit, you should still return to your most recent salary step when you re-enter the PSUFA bargaining unit).
